Delete your data
How to ask us to delete an operator account, a single staff login, or the data an operator holds — and what to expect once you do.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
Who should use this page
Wasoli is used by internet and cable operators, and by the staff those operators employ. This page covers deletion for both of those groups. If neither describes you, see if you are an ISP subscriber below.
Deleting an operator account
An operator can ask us to close their account and delete their instance — including every subscriber record it holds — at any time. This ends the agreement described in our terms of service, so it is usually the last step, not the first: if you only want to remove some data, or you are not sure, write to us first and we will talk it through before anything is deleted.
To go ahead, the request must come from someone authorised to act for the operator's account — normally the account holder or a company director. We will confirm the request against the account before acting on it.
Deleting a staff login
A member of an operator's staff who wants their own login and personal details removed should first ask their employer — the operator — to deactivate or delete their account in the panel; this is normally the fastest route, since the operator controls staff access directly. If that is not possible, contact us directly athello@wasoli.net and we will act on the request, after verifying it with the operator where needed.
If you are an ISP subscriber
If you are a customer of an internet or cable provider that happens to use Wasoli to run their billing, your data is held by that provider, not by us. The provider is the controller of your data under ourprivacy policy — they decide what is collected and why, and they are who you should contact first to access, correct or delete your information.
If you have contacted your provider and been unable to resolve it, write tohello@wasoli.net with the provider's name and what you asked them for. We will reach out to the operator on your behalf as an escalation step. We cannot act on a subscriber's data directly without going through the operator, because it is their data to control, not ours.
What gets deleted, what is kept
Once an operator account deletion is confirmed:
- The operator's instance, database, subscriber records, bills, receipts, complaints and message logs are permanently deleted within 30 days
- Staff logins associated with the account are deleted at the same time
- The operator's public address, such as yourcompany.wasoli.net, stops resolving to any instance
Some records are kept for longer, where the law requires it:
- Invoices and financial records related to the operator's own Wasoli subscription, retained for the statutory period that applies to financial records
- Server security logs already scheduled for deletion under our normal retention window, described in our privacy policy
Nothing kept for these reasons is used for any other purpose, and it is deleted as soon as the retention period that requires it ends.
